Start with Highlights
The recording plays at the top, with a timeline below it. The report has five tabs: Highlights, Steps (or Segments), Transcript, Measures and Score. Click a time in the timeline, transcript or list to jump to that part of the recording. Highlights lists positive or negative narration and session boundaries. Selecting a highlight plays the moment with a short lead-in. Listen to the surrounding narration and check the screen before deciding what happened.Steps and segments
When the journey has steps, the report divides the session by step. It uses the session’s step start times, aligns steps with narration or estimates them by time. Otherwise it divides the session into automatically detected segments. The effort shown for each part is experimental.Understand the Effort Score
The score runs from 0 to 100; higher means more effort. Use it to compare sessions of the same journey rather than treating it as a grade or a validated measure of workload. The current method combines four parts:- Effort of doing: scrolling, context switches and stretches people label as cognitive effort. Clicks and typing are shown but do not count in the current method.
- Negative narration: how much of what was said sounded negative.
- Narration: words spoken per minute.
- Time on task: session duration after trims. Longer sessions score higher.
