Compare two sessions

Put sessions of the same task in one journey. On the journey page, select two sessions with an Effort Score and choose Compare selected. Check that the sessions use a compatible scoring basis.

Compare groups

Assign participants to cohorts, such as first-time and returning users, or assign variants such as A and B. The journey page compares the groups. With fewer than five scored sessions in either group, it reports too few sessions to call the result. A goal’s page also ranks its journeys by median Effort Score. Interpret these comparisons in the context of the same goal and remember that different durations affect scores.

Save a finding

From a journey or goal comparison, Save as finding keeps the result with its numbers. Findings lists saved results and says whether each one still holds as data changes.

Share a report

Choose Share in a report and follow the access and expiry options shown there. Review the intended audience before creating or sending a link.
A report link can expose the recording and transcript as well as the report. Share only with people allowed to see them. During private preview, links may require an invited account; the Share dialog tells you which rule applies.
Use the report’s Share controls or Settings > Shared links to review or revoke links. Revocation prevents future access through that link; it cannot recall copies already downloaded or shared elsewhere.

Export measures

A report’s menu exports its measures as CSV or JSON. Handle exports with the same care as the report and recording.
