# Lighter Journeys

> Find the moments worth a closer look in a task recording.

Lighter Journeys helps UX researchers, product managers and documentation teams review narrated screen recordings of people performing a task. Reports connect task timing, transcripts and detected signals to the exact moments in the recording.

## Start with one question

Choose a task you want to understand: where someone gets stuck, how two approaches differ, or what changed after a fix. Record one person doing that task while thinking aloud.

<Note>
  The Effort Score is experimental. Treat detected signals as hints and check the recording before drawing conclusions. Narration sentiment describes the words spoken, not how a person felt. The [homepage](https://lighterjourneys.com/#measured-today) and each report show current accuracy information.
